ALL ABOUT WOODWORKING TABLE SAWS

Tips, technique, jigs & how to use a table saw safetly

Buying a table saw is usually the first purchase of a "big" woodworking tool that most hobbyist woodworkers consider. That is after the jig saw, router, sliding miter saw and power saw..... the essential "small" power tools.

After all if you buy a planer to thickness your lumber it is of little value if you haven't got a jointer to square the edges. And if you have a jointer, it is of little value unless you have a table saw to cut your lumber to size. Thus starting with a table saw and working up to the other two key woodworking tools makes a lot of sense.

This section of our 2-Woodworking Women web site is designed to offer you all kinds of ideas on how to buy the best table saw, tips on which blades and accessories to consider, how to use a table saw, training on joinery and some special cutting applications.

It is a work in progress.. please help.. If you have ideas on what you would like to see or would like to contribute content EMAIL US .. we'd love to hear from you.
